About Object: This is a designer table suitable for Laptop Work Scenes and equally suitable for Study Area Scenes. It has space for hiding all electronic equipment and wires at back for cleaner look. This object is made up of 2500 polygons or 3000 triangles. So it can both be used as low-poly in games (by just hiding the ‘Slider_Left’ and ‘Slider_Right’ objects which contain most of the polygons) and in high detail scenes equally. About Files: All the files have been created in 3ds max 2012 without using any plugins. Ready to render scene with all lights, materials and backgrounds is included. If you are opening it in versions other than 3ds max 2012, you might require slight adjustments in settings to get exactly the same render result. The zip contains four 3dsmax(.max) files named: • 01_Uncollapsed_Scene • 02_Collapsed_Scene • 03_Uncollapsed_Object • 04_Collapsed_Object And three multi-format files for use in other softwares such as Cinema4D, Unreal Engine and many others: • Object.obj (and corresponding Object.mtl file for materials) • Object.fbx • Object.3ds 01_Uncollapsed_Scene: This file contains the Object ‘Designer_Laptop_Study_Table’ and Studio Setup (including Lights, VRay_Camera, Planes and basic render settings) for rendering the object straitaway. This 3ds max file is the most editable file. Most of the objects in this file are parametric with modifier stacks intact. Always try to open this file first, in any version of 3ds max. If you face any problems, then try to open the next file ‘02_Collapsed_Scene’. 02_Collapsed_Scene: This file contains the Object ‘Designer_Laptop_Study_Table’ and Studio Setup (including Lights, VRay_Camera, Planes and basic render settings) for rendering the object straitaway. This file is similar to above file but the only difference is that most of the objects in the file have been collapsed to ‘Edit Poly’ to increase compatibility with most of the versions of 3ds max. 03_Uncollapsed_Object: This file contains only the Object ‘Designer_Laptop_Study_Table’ without any Studio Setup. Most of the parts of the object are parametric with modifier stacks intact. 04_Collapsed_Object: This file contains only the Object ‘Designer_Laptop_Study_Table’ without any Studio Setup. Most of the parts of the object have been collapsed to ‘Edit Poly’ separately, to increase compatibility with most of the versions of 3ds max. About Materials: All of the 3ds max files contain all the materials. Just press ‘M’ and you will see all the materials neatly displayed in the material editor. In addition to this, you will also the following material files in zip file: 1. Material library named ‘Laptop_Study_Table.mat’. This file contains all the materials used for the Object and the Studio Setup. You can open this material library using ‘Open Material Library’ option in Material/Map Browser. Generally you will not require this file as these all materials are present in all 3ds max files. 2. Materials in the form of .mtl file for the corresponding .obj file. 3. All the bitmaps used are included and are in the ‘maps’ folder in zip file.
